Fibwi and CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín renew their commitment and face a new season in Primera FEB

Fibwi and CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín have formalized the renewal of their sponsorship agreement for the 2026-2027 season in an event held this morning at the company’s headquarters in Palma. The signing was attended by Francisco Alcalde, founding CEO of Fibwi, and Guillem Boscana, president of the club, who represented the continuity of a partnership that is further consolidated within Balearic sport.

Thanks to this agreement, the first team of the Mallorcan club will continue competing under the name Fibwi Mallorca Bàsquet Palma in Primera FEB, reaffirming both entities’ commitment to a project that continues to grow and represent the Balearic Islands in one of the most demanding competitions in Spanish basketball.

The relationship between Fibwi and CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín began in 2022 and has since been characterized by mutual trust and a shared vision of sport as a tool for development and international projection for the Balearic Islands. Over the years, the company has supported the club in its sporting and institutional growth, backing a project that has become one of the benchmarks of Balearic basketball.

With this renewal, Fibwi maintains its commitment to island sport and to a club that, season after season, continues to carry the name of Mallorca and the Balearic Islands across Spain, promoting values such as effort, perseverance, and teamwork.

Francisco Alcalde, founding CEO of Fibwi, highlighted the importance of continuing to support the club for another season:

“With great excitement to continue for another year, we have suffered and fought, but in the end we achieved survival, which was the most important thing, and I am proud to support a team like Fibwi Palma and grateful to its president for all the support they also give us. We will simply be there to support them and in the coming years we hope to continue. As always, we support sport and right now we are very happy with the results we are getting at Fibwi Palma and will keep working hard so the team can remain in these positions and hopefully one day move up to the ACB.”

On the other hand, the president of Fibwi Mallorca Bàsquet Palma, Guillem Boscana, thanked the continuation of a partnership now entering its fifth consecutive season:

“Very happy that it has already been 4 years carrying the Fibwi name on the jersey. I have always said it is a pride that Mallorcan companies are on the shirt, companies from here that know what it takes to carry this project forward. I am grateful to Francisco and Fibwi for their trust, because they are 100 horsepower for starting the new project, which will surely go well. We would like to improve and try to reach the playoffs. It is true that in the first years in LEB Oro we achieved it five times, and let’s see if this year is the sixth, but without forgetting that the basic and essential goal is to stay up.”

The renewal of the agreement strengthens the bond between both entities, committed to sport, society, and the development of the Balearic Islands, consolidating a partnership that will continue to carry the name Fibwi Mallorca Bàsquet Palma for another season.
