CD Génova unveils its new kits with Fibwi as sponsor
Club president Joan Aloy and representatives of the men’s and women’s teams took part in the kit presentation. The shirts feature the Fibwi logo on the chest and pay tribute to the club’s history as it celebrates its 110th anniversary.
CD Génova has unveiled its new kits at Fibwi TV’s facilities, in an event attended by club president Joan Aloy and players from both the men’s and women’s teams.
The new shirts feature the Fibwi logo as an official club sponsor, strengthening the company’s presence on the team’s playing kits. The presentation showcased the season’s different designs, combining CD Génova’s colours and identity.
Four designs for the new season
The event introduced four shirt designs: a blue model with white details, a red-and-white vertically striped shirt, an orange kit with dark accents on the shoulders, and a green design featuring white patterns on the sleeves and sides.
On the front, the Fibwi logo shares prominence with the CD Génova crest and sportswear brand New Balance.
Representatives of the men’s and women’s teams modelled the new kits in the Fibwi TV studio, which had been prepared for the occasion with both organisations’ emblems displayed on the screens.
A kit celebrating 110 years of club history
One of the highlights of the presentation was the historical significance of one of the designs, created to revisit CD Génova’s origins as the club celebrates its 110th anniversary.
Club president Joan Aloy explained the meaning behind the shirt: “It’s innovative, but it is actually a shirt with 110 years of history.”
Aloy also recalled the family connection to the original kit, which was worn during the club’s early years: “It’s the shirt my parents and grandparents started playing in.” He also highlighted the return of a distinctive feature from that period: “They’ve even included the original crest from that era.”
Fibwi and CD Génova: a partnership for continued growth
During the presentation, Joan Aloy highlighted the partnership between the two organisations and the importance of having the support of a company with strong ties to Mallorca’s business community.
“We have partnered with one of Mallorca’s leading companies. That is why this partnership is important to achieving our goals,” said the CD Génova president.
Through this collaboration, Fibwi reaffirms its commitment to sport and to organisations across the Balearic Islands, supporting CD Génova in a season marked by the unveiling of its new kits and the celebration of more than a century of club history.
