Fibwi and the CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín join their paths in the 2022-23 season

The Mallorcan telecommunications company Fibwi, born in 2009, will be the main sponsor of the team in this 2022-23 season, also giving the name to the first CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín team, which, from today, will be called Fibwi Palma, the name with which will compete in the eastern conference of the LEB Plata seeking to return to the LEB Oro, an objective marked in red by the board of directors and coaching staff of the Palma team. The agreement has been officially closed, after several weeks of negotiation, at Fibwi's headquarters in Palma located in the Son Castelló Industrial Estate in an event in which Francisco Alcalde, CEO of Fibwi and Guillermo Boscana, president of the CB, were present. Bahía San Agustín Printing Company that has signed the agreement that links both entities during this 2022-23 season.


After signing the agreement Guillermo Boscana stated: “It is a very important day for the future of this season because we present the agreement with Fibwi. We are very happy to close it because it has been a long and complicated task and we are very happy with the fact that a Mallorcan company that is also closely linked to the world of sports has believed in our project." The president of CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín also wanted to thank Fibwi for its support, emphasizing that “we are going to bring a lot of joy to the fans and the sponsor, who has been one of the parties that has made it possible for us to have a powerful team this year. ”. Boscana has once again made it clear that the objective cannot be other than returning to the LEB Oro. “I already said at the end of the season that the objective cannot be other than returning to the LEB Oro as soon as possible and that 'as soon as possible' It's this year but sometimes things don't come to pass and it takes two years.
