Fibwi and CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín renew their agreement for the Primera FEB
Fibwi, a leading telecommunications company in the Balearic Islands, and CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín today announced the renewal of their sponsorship agreement, ensuring the continuity of the first team in the Primera FEB. The signing took place this morning at Fibwi's central offices, with the presence of Francisco Alcalde, Fibwi's Founding CEO, and Guillem Boscana, president of CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín.
This alliance, which began in the summer of 2022, reaffirms Fibwi's commitment to Balearic basketball. After a relegation to LEB Plata, Fibwi firmly backed the CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín project, accompanying them in a season where they managed to qualify for the promotion playoffs. At that time, Guillem Boscana promised Francisco Alcalde the team's return to the Primera FEB, a goal that has been brilliantly achieved.
Despite a challenging 2023-24 season, in which permanence was secured on the final matchday, Fibwi's confidence in the Mallorcan club remained unwavering. This season, the team achieved spectacular promotion on May 31, in an exciting playoff against Lobe Huesca La Magia, a date that is now part of the history of Fibwi Palma Bàsquet.
