Fibwi renews its commitment to grassroots sports and once again becomes the official sponsor of the Trofeu Fibwi
Fibwi is proud to announce its renewal as the official sponsor of the Trofeu Fibwi, a sporting event that has become a must-attend for grassroots football in the Balearic Islands. From December 27th to 30th, the municipalities of Sant Antoni de Portmany and Sant Josep de sa Talaia will become the epicenter of youth football, hosting 42 teams and 600 young promising players who will compete in 125 exciting matches.
A tournament for all talents
The Trofeu Fibwi will bring together young footballers from the under-10, under-11, under-12, and under-13 (11-a-side football) categories. A regional tournament that offers a unique platform for young people to demonstrate their skill and passion for football, competing against teams from other islands.
A positive impact on the island
This new edition of the tournament not only promotes sports practice among young people but also contributes significantly to the deseasonalisation of sports tourism in the Pitiüses. It is estimated that the arrival of more than 1,000 people, including players and families, will generate a significant economic impact on the area.
A gesture of solidarity
As a highlight, this year the tournament has invited Paiporta Football Club, a Valencian team that has suffered the consequences of recent floods. With this gesture, the social commitment of the Trofeu Fibwi is demonstrated and the young footballers of Paiporta are given the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience.
An event in constant evolution
For this edition, various new features have been introduced with the aim of enriching the experience of all participants. Among them, the expansion of categories stands out, which will allow for greater participation and promote diversity in the tournament.
