Fibwi, official sponsor of the III Volta Algaida BTT
Fibwi has been the official sponsor of the III Volta Algaida BTT organized by Rodadors Club Esportiu and the Algaida City Council. The test, which was held this Sunday, December 12 in Algaida, had a total participation of 34 couples distributed in three categories, one female (two teams), one male (21 teams) and one mixed (11 teams).
The race was carried out in the MTB mode on an urban and rural route closed to traffic and perfectly signposted. It is a popular race for teams of two, which consists of doing the maximum number of laps of the approximately 15 kilometer route for a minimum time of 3 hours.
The winners of each category were: In the women's team, Caterina Julià Alou and Maribel Tous Julià beat their rivals Aina Mir and Lourdes Mojer who finished second. In the men's team, Xavi Canyelles and Miquel Mas were proclaimed champions of the III Volta Algaida BTT. Those who accompanied them on the podium were Jordi Fernández Juez and Pablo Sauco Pocovi in second place and Francesc Nicolay and Pere Ginard in third place. In the mixed category, Antoni Ferragut Gili and Rosa González Caldentey won the test. Ana Celia Creus Del Campo and Javier Saez Jiménez placed second and, behind them, Aina Martí and Lorenzo Navarro were placed.
