

Four Mallorca players, protagonists of the new fibwi spot
Under the slogan "The team's real fiber", the advertising campaign redefines the concept of closeness and authenticity in Balearic sports sponsorship.
Fibwi, the leading telecommunications and media company in the Balearic Islands and official sponsor of RCD Mallorca, takes a step forward with the presentation of its most impactful advertising campaign to date. It is a cinematic-style spot starring four first-team players: the striker Vedat Muriqi, the defender Martin Valjent, and the midfielders, Sergi Darder and Manu Morlanes.
The filming was carried out entirely at the Antonio Asensio Sports City facilities. The choice of this strategic location has made it possible to capture the players' working environment and daily life with maximum authenticity, offering a fresh perspective away from the stadium's usual spotlights.
For this project, Fibwi has relied on the prestige of the Mallorcan filmmaker Marcos Cabotá, who has been nominated twice for the Goya Awards. Cabotá has given the piece an innovative approach, seeking to show the most human, natural, and friendly side of the players, a register deliberately far from the formality often projected by sports figures.
Marcos Cabotá highlighted the exceptional chemistry on set:
"It has been an exceptional shoot. My goal was to capture the essence of these great professionals off the pitch, to show their human and fun side. The public will be surprised to see their idols in such a natural and authentic register, which was possible thanks to their total willingness and professionalism."
The core of the campaign is the powerful slogan “The team’s real fiber”. This statement not only plays with Fibwi's main product but also synthesizes the brand philosophy, using the word “real” to evoke the authenticity, closeness, and deep Balearic roots of the company.
